MEO offers secondary school education to students from Year 7 to Year 13, corresponding to Key Stages 3, 4 and 5 in the English National Curriculum.
We have qualified and experienced teachers to deliver a high-quality secondary school education. Our program is designed to help students prepare for internationally recognised British qualifications, including iGCSE and International A-level examinations. Our students will appear for these examinations at authorised locations in their respective countries.
With MEO, you can expect a top-quality education for your child. With our online classes, you can expect a significant emphasis on learning the right way. Our online classrooms have a limited size (8 students) to ensure that all students are given individualised attention, which facilitates their learning.
By personalising the learning experience, we are able to enhance engagement by differentiating instruction based on each student’s abilities and progress. Personalised learning also allows our educators to identify and address specific learning gaps that individual students may have. This is something which is next to impossible with large class sizes as with most mainstream schools.
Key Stage 3 encompasses Years 7, 8, and 9. It is an important phase in the academic journey of every student. These early years are more than just a transitional period between primary school and the challenges that lie ahead. This is a platform for in-depth interaction with the curriculum, self-discovery, and exploration.
Upon entering Year 9, students have the opportunity for greater independence in molding their academic path. This independence encourages a lifetime love for learning by enabling them to explore deeply in their areas of personal interest.
One of the hallmarks of our Key Stage 3 program is flexibility. Students are free to enrol in as many or as few subjects (aside from the core curriculum) as they like. Through this, students can take control of their own academic workload, ensuring they don’t become overwhelmed and can take ownership of their whole educational journey.
Our Key Stage 4 program aligns with the British Curriculum, focusing on core iGCSE subjects. It guarantees that students receive dynamic, interesting classes that are ideal for independent learning as it was created with this syllabus in mind.
At MEO, we recognize that every student is unique, and we offer the flexibility for early iGCSE exam sitting. A student may take their exams before the normal school age if they show that they have the aptitude and potential to do well on them. Key Stage 5, also known as “post-16,” is a crucial stage in preparing students for university and their future careers as it signifies the transition to advanced studies.
Students prepare for important exams like the A-Levels at this point, which are widely recognized for university admission, not only in the UK but also worldwide. These credentials open up a world of opportunities for students and serve as a doorway to higher education.
As students enter Key Stage 5, we’re committed to empowering them with the knowledge, skills, and confidence they need to succeed. This is the phase where your educational journey becomes a launchpad for the future, and we’re here to make that journey as smooth and rewarding as possible.
There is a £75 one-off non-refundable registration fee for new student enrolments.
Furthermore, any parent accepting an offer of a place at MEO will be charged a refundable deposit of £500.
This deposit will be refunded at the end of the academic year once all fees are confirmed to have been paid in full.
Parents who fail to take up their child’s place after officially enrolling will not be refunded this amount.
MEO requires no less than a full term’s written notice, received by the Principal, not later than one week after the beginning of a term before a pupil is withdrawn from the school. Failing such notice, we will charge the total fees for the term following withdrawal.
In its absolute discretion, MEO may require a parent to remove a pupil from the school whose attendance, progress or behaviour in class is unsatisfactory. In such circumstances, the parent shall not be entitled to any refund of the fees due or already paid. Nor shall any refund be owing for absence due to illness.
MEO reserves the right to require a parent to remove a pupil from the school if they knowingly fail to disclose important information about their child’s special educational, medical and social needs. They should advise such information in writing at the time of registration to MEO.
Please note that we require an additional deposit of £500 for the monthly option.
Upon confirmation that all fees have been paid, this will be refunded when the student leaves the school.
All fees are inclusive of VAT.
